ARE YOU BETWEEN 16 AND 21 YEARS OLD AND WANT TO MAKE A REAL IMPACT IN YOUR COMMUNITY?

 🔍  Program Summary – "Boost your impact"
We’re offering a fully funded, bilingual leadership and volunteering experience for youth aged 16 to 21 across Ontario. The program is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals with refugee status, with a special focus on supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, Indigenous youth, newcomers, and youth from rural or remote areas.

  🌿  Part 1 – Affirm Your Roots
🗓  August 8–10, 2025 |   📍 Near Sudbury, ON
A 3-day, 2-night wilderness retreat hosted by Finding Polaris.
Participants will:

  • Disconnect from tech and daily stress
  • Reconnect with nature and themselves
  • Build leadership and survival skills
  • Share farm-to-table meals
  • Meet inspiring youth from across the province

It’s 100% free — we cover all transportation, meals, accommodation, and wilderness gear from wherever you are in Ontario. This part of the program will be welcomed by the camp organisation : Finding Polaris, check it out!

💻 Part 2 – Strengthen Your Foundation
🗓 Starting August 2025
Participants attend 18 virtual sessions (90 minutes each, bilingual) led by Impact ON, covering:

  • Inclusion & diversity
  • Reconciliation & Indigenous knowledge
  • Environmental justice
  • Civic engagement
  • Community leadership


🤝 Part 3 – Thrive
Participants complete 120 hours of volunteer work in their local communities with:

  • Social, civic, or environmental organizations
  • Community-based projects or initiatives

 

The program runs from August until all hours are completed, with lots of growth, fun, and connections along the way!

  ✅  Eligibility

  • 16–21 years old
  • Live in Ontario
  • Be motivated and eager to grow
  • Hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee status
  • Youth from equity-deserving groups are especially encouraged to apply
